Are we gonna stay in Argentina?
Are we gonna stay in San Miguel del Monte, Buenos Aires? Well, we have community here, Facu’s family nearby, and lots of opportunities to serve with Word of Life & our church. The regional director here also presented us as associated CTEN missionaries with WOL; so if we wanted to stay, we have a wonderful home here. However, after trying to listen for God, we now have clarity. We’ve decided to help start a new ministry we’ve never done before, in a different country! We’ll have more updates as time goes on, but we wanted to let you know now so you can be praying for us in the process!

Who is this for ?
Who feels ministered to by music? If people only approach me afterward with compliments on my voice or how well I play an instrument, then isn’t it nothing more than a talent show? I’ve been learning that it depends on the audience. Some people come into a room hungry, searching for any small way that God could be speaking to them. A Bible student from Mexico told me that the lyrics I sang were exactly what she needed and she even recorded it on her phone to remember the message. But my rehearsal time also impacts my own life. I was asked to sing for our church’s marriage retreat and the words made me look at my husband with new eyes.

Facu singing & Youth Group
One day Facu was walking and singing to himself, when the PDV head of music overheard him and asked if he’d be willing to sing on a worship team for the 4-day missions conference. He was nervous but he was spectacular (I may be biased) and has gained confidence to be able to do more musical things for the LORD in the future!
In March there were a dozen kids at our church’s youth group. Now there are 60! Some of these kids with difficult backgrounds have found a safe place to express themselves with the leaders. When we were invited to serve we also got to see kids meet Jesus for the first time! There are only 2 adult leaders so they have a lot on their plates but thankfully more people have asked to join the team and will help mentor these kids!
Please pray for us
- Personal spiritual growth
- Stamina for Facu’s studies
- Unity in parenting Kenya Victoria Puentes
- All of the details in our big step of faith: moving!
Praise: On the date this will be published, I’ll be celebrating 11 years of sobriety from my cutting addiction!

Thank you for your partnership, both to those of you who are praying and those who are giving support. We are extremely grateful!
