Facundo, MiKeilah & Baby Kenya Puentes
. a r g e n t i n a .
60+ hours of driving for Facu, a one-way flight for the girls, and we’re finally settled in our new home! San Miguel del Monte is 675 miles below where we were previously living, and it’s very close to Buenos Aires. We don’t know how long God will have us here for, but we can both already see the drastic improvement in my mental health!
Can we go to the States ?
Baby Kenya has a U.S. Passport! *cue the Hallelujah chorus*
The only thing we’re waiting on is Facu’s international driver’s lisence, but also please please please pray that the borders stay open. Lord willing, Kenya will meet her grandparents before her 1st birthday!
Our ministry is
different now . . .
I’m mostly at home making sure our tiny spawn stays alive. Whereas Facu would come back every day with fresh red scrapes on his legs from ceramic shards flying through the air! He’s also very proud of his manly new calloused palms.
Word of Life Fellowship, Inc. (WOL) is a non-denominational Christian organization with camps, conferences, Bible Institutes, and church youth ministries in 70 countries. Facu served here for a decade, and now he’s back, doing things he’s never done before! Mon-Fri 9am-6pm at the WOL property demolishing bathrooms with a sledgehammer (above left) and working on all things involving electricity (above right) with other missionaries, as well as WOL Bible Institute students.
Meet our Pastors!
La Paz (Peace) is a small 9-year-old evangelical Christian church led by Pastor Carlos & his wife, Constanza. He was the one who baptised me, and he married us in 2018! When we were still living in northern Argentina, he gave us wise counsel & helped us in that dark moment of our lives. And now basically anytime these church doors are open, we’re there!
We started a Missions Department !
Missions was one of Facu’s Master’s degree classes this semester, and it’s a topic that we’re both passionate about. We were praying about how to serve in our local church, and Pastor Carlos asked if we could help open the Missions Department! Facu felt especially enthusiastic about the idea. 10 of us have already begun with meetings to bathe it all in prayer and plan, so we’ll see what God will do!
Thank you for your partnership, both to those of you who are praying and those who are giving support. We are extremely grateful!
